Oregon Chai Review & Giveaway!!!

After participating in the 1st Oregon Chai Twitter party celebrating the release of their new Chai Tea Latte 10-oz. canister, I was recently given the chance to do a review and giveaway of their chai mix as a part of their "Me Time" campaign.  They've enlisted the help of national wellness expert Peggy Hall from PeggyHall.com to help spread the joy of "Me Time" to all Oregon Chai drinkers!

If you're not familiar with Chai Tea Latte, here's the description from the Oregon Chai website that I think does a great job of explaining what it is. "It's a rich, creamy blend of black tea, honey, vanilla and spices. It's a lot like a latte (minus the coffee, of course)." The great thing about the new 10-oz. canister is that you can use as much or as little of the mix as you want without having to worry about leaving behind open packets and wasting it.

Now, I have to admit that I was a bit nervous about doing this review at first because I have NEVER been a chai fan.  I must have tried something terrible in the past because my husband loves it, but I never wanted to drink it after I tried it for the first time.  After tasting Oregon Chai's mix, however, I am now a believer in the wonderfulness of Chai Tea Lattes!  I am not just saying this to be nice or because they gave me a free product but because I really do think they have a great product that I now love!

We had a cold front come in yesterday, so I decided to try some Oregon Chai on what felt like an early fall Colorado night-a perfect time for a warm drink.  My husband says the secret to great chai is in using a little milk, but we were out of milk, so I used a little bit of French Vanilla creamer instead.  It was the perfect addition!  I enjoyed a warm, creamy Chai tea, and I actually wanted to have a 2nd cup but made myself wait because it was so late at night.  Now I can't wait to try an iced version since the cool weather won't last long and it's been so hot during the day in Colorado Springs this summer!

WIN IT!

Oregon Chai was very generous, and they are giving 2 Ten Talents readers the opportunity to win their very own 10 ounce canister sample (pictured) of their yummy chai and either a double-walled acrylic reusable iced tea cup or an Oregon Chai mega mug!  I have to warn you though...if you win and try this for the first time, I think you're going to have to keep buying it for the rest of your life :)

Mandatory Entry: (please leave your email addy so I can contact you if you win!)

Visit Oregon Chai and tell me something you learned!  This entry MUST come before the extra entries or you will not be able to win.

Extra Entries: (please leave a separate comment for each entry and include your email addy)

1) Follow Ten Talents on Facebook HERE.  You can also click on the "like" button in the right sidebar.
2) Follow Ten Talents via RSS HERE. You can also click on the icon in the top right corner of the site.
3) Follow Ten Talents via GFC in the right sidebar.  Please leave your GFC ID & your email addy.
4) Tweet the following: "Oh yummy! Win the new 10-oz. canister of Oregon Chai & a reusable acrylic cup or mega mug with @asthepotter http://tiny.cc/ivws5 "  Please leave the link in your comment.
5) Leave me a comment telling me how or where you learned about this giveaway.

This giveaway will run from Sunday, July 25th, to Monday, August 2nd, at 8 pm EST.  Open to US residents only.  Winner will be chosen via random.org.  I will choose the first winner and then let that person choose if he/she would like the acrylic cup or the mega mug.  I will then contact the second winner!  You can only win once.

Disclosure:  I was not paid for this review/giveaway, but I was given free products and tools to test out the Oregon Chai Tea Latte mix.
