Juppy Baby Walker Review & Giveaway! (US only)

I was VERY excited to have the opportunity to review the Juppy Baby Walker.  I only recently became aware of this product, and I thought it would be great for our little lady.  Though she's been walking for about a month now, she's still not very stable, and I wanted to be able to take her outside and still be able to let her walk around without fear she would fall and hurt herself.  I was excited to learn that it can be used with children who are already walking though it is usually marketed to those whose babies are learning to walk.

Juppy sent me their baby walker to review in both the blue and pink colors.  You can see both here with the super cute, silky bags in which they are packaged.  I couldn't quit thinking what a unique baby shower gift these would make!

We took the tiny lady in my husband's parent's back yard to test out the walkers.  Here's video 1 with the pink Juppy:

And here's a pic for those of you who don't have time to watch the video.  Yes, she is trying to eat a rock.  We have a hard time keeping her from doing that :)

I loved that we could walk all over the yard, and I didn't have to bend over to walk with her using my arms.  I could stand up straight, AND....my favorite part was that I could quickly and easily lift her over any obstacles using the Juppy straps.  I wouldn't recommend picking a baby up too far in the air with these, but they were great for a quick hop over a rock or an uneven place.  I feel so much more stable using this.  When I try to lift her when I'm bent over, I stumble a lot!

We decided to try out some rockier areas and some outdoor steps with the blue walker.  The Juppys are completely the same except for the color.  I actually personally preferred the blue one because I am a fan of blue.  It's a deep almost teal blue color that I think could be great for a boy or a girl!

Here's video 2:

And here are some more pics...this time with the blue walker!  Don't you love the color?  I think it looks a little lighter blue in the pictures than it actually is.

Again, notice that I could stand up even when we were attempting the stairs!

Even Daddy gave it a try, though he hoped making a face would keep him off the blog :)  He did have to bend down a little, but you can easily adjust the straps so tall Dads can use it too.  Even with the straps unadjusted, this was a HUGE improvement over walking her with your hands under her arms!

FACT:
Did you know that the American Academy of Pediatrics is against using baby walkers with wheels due to several safety concerns, which leaves the Juppy as the only safe alternative?  You can visit the Juppy review/giveaway site HERE to learn more about others' experiences with the Juppy and enter other giveaways as well if you want lots of chances to win!!!

BUY IT
Do you have a baby shower coming up or a baby who's ready to go and you can't wait to see if you're the lucky winner?  You can BUY your very own Juppy Baby Walker HERE for only $24.95 plus shipping and handling.  Plus, for an additional $6.95, you can have your Juppy personalized with the baby's name!  And...each Juppy comes with a free Juppy carrying case in the same color as the Juppy you choose.

Win It!  One lucky reader will win his/her choice of the pink or blue Juppy!

Mandatory Entry (1 entry):

Visit Juppy and tell me one thing you learned or like about the Juppy Baby Walker.  This entry is required before you can complete the other entries.

My nephew is almost 10 months old and just starting to walk! This would be fantastic for him as he loved being able to explor but both Mom and Dad are 6 feet tall! It's hard for them to do the hand thing.

I love that this Juppy has adjustable straps so that my super tall brother and SIL can also use it comfortably.
